Humanitarian Relief

GAP International Humanitarian Aid and Research Association meets basic humanitarian needs in crisis situations such as disasters, conflict or poverty, supporting communities to hold on to life and quickly adapt to the reconstruction process. Our humanitarian aid activities are centered on the principle of respect for human dignity and human security.

Emergency Response and Disaster Management
- Emergency Aid Teams: In natural disasters and humanitarian crises, we quickly reach the region with the first response team and provide shelter, food, clean water and medical supplies.
- Logistics and Coordination: We carry out our field operations in cooperation with local governments and international organizations, aiming to ensure that the needs reach the right people at the right time.

Food and Nutrition Support
- Food Packages and soup kitchens: We deliver food packages containing basic nutrients to families in need and set up soup kitchens in temporary shelter centers.
- Nutrition Education: To prevent malnutrition, we inform families about basic nutritional values and hygiene issues and encourage healthy living habits.

Health and Housing Solutions
- Mobile Clinic and Medical Support: Our medical personnel provide first aid and basic health services in the field and manage referral processes to hospitals in case of need.
- Temporary Accommodation Centers: We provide shelter for those who have lost their homes or need safe housing by establishing tent cities, prefabricated structures or guesthouses.

Social Solidarity and Integration
- Psychosocial Support: We implement support programs with expert psychologists and social workers, taking into account the social and emotional needs of individuals affected by crisis situations.
- Local Capacity Building: In the post-disaster recovery process, we encourage local people and volunteers to contribute to the recovery of their communities by undertaking training.

Long Term Impact and Sustainability

We continue to support communities in the region not only during emergencies but also after the crisis. With medium and long-term projects covering shelter, education, health and employment, we aim to bring lasting solutions to post-disaster recovery. We use the findings of our research and data analysis activities to improve future interventions.
